Iberamia’2024, the 18th Ibero-American Conference on Artificial Intelligence, will be held in Montevideo (Uruguay) on November 13-15th, 2024, organized by the Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de la República. It is a leading symposium where the Ibero-American AI community comes together to share research results and experiences with researchers in Artificial Intelligence from all over the world. We are now opening a call for late breaking papers (LBP). This is an opportunity to briefly present and discuss within the AI community recent ideas and preliminary results in ongoing AI research. Submission topics include but are not limited to: AI Engineering & Applications; Agent technology; Ambient intelligence; AI in Education; Bio-inspired AI; Computational creativity; Soft Computing; Cognitive Systems; Computer vision; Robotics; Game Theory; Affective Computing; Knowledge Representation; Reasoning; Machine Learning; Natural Language Processing; Heuristics and Metaheuristics; Ethics and AI; Sustainable AI; Explainable AI. Paper Submission Guidelines • Papers must be written in English, in the Springer LNCS format, and must not exceed 4 pages, including all tables, figures and refernces (https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines) Submissions over four pages will be rejected without review. • Papers must be submitted through EquinOCS at https://equinocs.springernature.com/service/IBERAMIA2024 All submissions will go through a double blind peer review evaluating originality, relevance, significance, technical soundness, quality and clarity. Thus, author names and affiliations must be omitted from the submission. Self‐references should be avoided. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to other venue. Conference Registration and Attendance At least one late breaking paper author is required to register in the conference, up to September 30th, and should be available to present the paper. Publication LBP will be published in the Proceedings by Springer in the «Advances in Artificial Intelligence», LNCS/LNAI series.
